Your traineeship will be divided into 2 parts:

In the first 6 months you’ll join CDMO Advocacy & Influence Team, where you’ll be:

Best Practice Playbook: Core to all other tasks, will be to act as a sole owner of internal playbooks, improving and keeping them up to date. Mapping out process gaps and co-create a structured go-to guide for every divisional team.

IRM Tool Monitoring: Acting as a support to Data, Tool & Compliance Lead, helping to manage strategic Advocacy platform. 

New IRM Tool Migration: Support CDMO A&I Team in implementation of a new IRM tool – starting from data migration, compliance checks and upskilling, in close collaboration with Global & Europe A&I teams.

Audit & Governance: Map and audit all content & digital tool accesses, accounts and platforms across L’Oreal HUB. Identify gaps, build governance frameworks, and define ownership rules to ensure security & compliance.

Compliance audit: Implement internal tools to register intellectual property rights, verify usage rights for all published content (UGC & Owned Media) and indirect e-commerce clients to ensure compliance. Use available resources to regularly scan the inventory status of owned media and the TOP 10 indirect e-commerce clients to stabilize the implemented process.

Second 6 months, you’ll join E-commerce Team, helping with:

Strategic Project Management: Planning, monitoring, and optimizing e-commerce and social-commerce platforms and Consumer Experience initiatives.

DTC Business Strategization: Conducting business analysis to drive the strategic transformation of the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) model within marketplace ecosystems.

Unique Consumer Experience Design: Implementing brand-dedicated solutions, such as customized packaging, leaflets, and gifts, to elevate the D2C offer for all L’Oréal brands.

We are seeking a driven individual to bridge the gap between science and marketing, with focus on digital and advocacy areas. This is a cross-divisional project — CMI (Consumer & Market Intelligence) joining forces with the Luxe Division (Lancôme, Kiehl’s & Biotherm) to crack one of L’Oréal’s biggest strategic challenges: the luxury face care category.

Your 12-month journey:

• Months 1–6 | CMI: Build the intelligence — research the market, decode the competition, map the beauty salon channel

• Months 7–12 | Luxe Division: Activate the intelligence — apply your insights to real brand decisions and channel strategy

You won’t start from scratch in Luxe. You’ll arrive as the expert who built the intelligence.

Phase 1: Consumer & Market Intelligence (Months 1–6)

Objective: Build a comprehensive intelligence foundation for the Polish luxury skincare channel.

Market Mapping: Identify and categorize the beauty salon and aesthetic medicine landscape in Poland, including geographic distribution and market size.
Operational Research: Analyze business models, treatment ranges, and the roles of professionals (doctors, cosmetologists) within the channel.
Consumer Insights: Explore consumer profiles, treatment preferences, and the impact of professional recommendations on luxury skincare purchases.
Competitive Intelligence: Track category performance, map pricing architectures, and monitor competitor activities using Excel and Power BI.
Strategic Synthesis: Produce a „Beauty Salon Intelligence Package” to define the „Right to Play” for Lancôme, Kiehl’s, and Biotherm.

Phase 2: Luxe Division (Months 7–12)

Objective: Translate intelligence into marketing action and brand growth.

Strategic Translation: Convert Phase 1 findings into brand-specific decisions, prioritizing target segments and geographic areas.
Pilot Design: Identify and validate salon partners to design a pilot cooperation model, including commercial structures and success criteria.
Go-to-Market Activation: Develop launch materials, brand assets, and toolkits for pilot salons to ensure premium brand execution.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As an RGM & Commercial Excellence Trainee, you will play a dual role: driving the effectiveness of promotional strategies across the Poland and Baltic markets, and leading a strategic project to build an advanced analytical framework for Launch Profitability. You will act as a bridge between Finance, Marketing, and Sales to ensure sustainable value growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1st Rotation: Promotion Optimization & Strategy – LDB Division

Knowledge Management: Expand the „Promo Library” for Modern Pharma and SPP channels, collaborating with Key Account Managers (KAM) and Business Intelligence.

Data Analytics: Analyze historical promotional performance to identify trends, efficiency gaps, and ROI optimization opportunities.

Policy Development: Enhance Promotional Guidelines and co-create a unified Promotional Policy for the Polish market based on data-driven „promo learnings.”

2nd Rotation: RGM Strategic Project – Launch Profitability Tool – LUXE Division

Needs Assessment: Conduct an audit of current launch profitability and lead cross-functional meetings (Finance/Marketing) to define tool requirements.

Tool Development: Design and build a sophisticated Excel-based model to calculate the profitability of new product launches and simulate their impact on the existing portfolio (Cannibalization vs. Incrementality).

Implementation : Roll out the tool to the organization, conduct user training, create documentation (User Guide), and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.

SKILLS TO BE DEVELOPED:

Advanced Analytics: Master-level Excel modeling, P&L analysis, and data synthesis.

Project Management: Full lifecycle ownership of a business tool from briefing to deployment.

🔎How does it work?

  • You will begin your journey at L’Oréal in Autumn 2026
  • SeedZ Management Trainee Program is a 12-month adventure with rotation into different teams and projects.
  • We’re recruiting for concrete projects from different areas like marketing, supply chain, finance, e-commerce, etc. Projects for the upcoming edition will be published in August.
